AWARD

FOR EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH

Robert F. Arnove, Chancellor’s Professor Emeritus at Indiana University, USA, is the recipient of the Afundación International Award for Educational Research in its first edition. The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the ABANCA Social Work Center (Plaza Cervantes, s/n) in
Santiago de Compostela.

Only individuals are eligible to be candidates for this award.

They must be nominated by companies and organizations.

Why?

Afundación is committed to promoting education itself as a scientific subject that is decisive in development for individuals and entire populations.

Head of the Research Centre for Children Studies (CIEC) and professor at the Institute of Education at Universidade do Minho.

José Luis Guerrero Cusumano, PhD

Academic Head for Latin America and Central Europe in Education and International Development (CIED) at Georgetown University. Professor at Georgetown University. Professor at Georgetown University.

Assunção Flores, PhD

Professor at FEP-University of Porto.

Carlota Sánchez Puga

Secretary in an advisory capacity, and coordinator of the Afundación International Award for Educational Research.
